Delivering on Promises
Geraldine has 100% attendance since 2019 both at Plenary and Municipal District meetings means that her Constituents are very well represented.
Geraldine has delivered on her promises for:
(A) Organising a refuse collection for the people of Kilchreest and surrounding areas. She has led the way in the fight against illegal dumping and by brining communities and State Bodies together enabled her to erect barriers throughout the scenic Sonnagh Kilchreest peat land region.( B) Schools & Villages Traffic calming measures put in place at the following locations: (1) Kilbeacanty Village (2) Kilbeacanty National School (3) Kilchreest National School, Lough Cutra National School
( C) Group Water Scheme – assisted in the delivery of a domestic water supply to a number of homes in Kilchreest Village
(D) Road Issues:
Local Improvement Schemes (LIS) – Courtneys Lane, Gort.
Allocation of approx €15000 Notice of Motion Monies for Hedge Cutting Gort Kinvara Electoral Area over a 3 year period.
Roads Programme – the inclusion of Local and Regional Roads for Road Resurfacing and improvement.
Flood alleviation for homes affected in Ballynamanagh, Seefin.
Lighting – the installation of various public lighting – Craughwell, Loughrea, & Gort.
Signage: The repair and replacement of road signage at various locations.
