Geraldine Donohue (nee Mitchell) is an Independent Councillor first elected in May 2019. She represents the Gort Kinvara Electoral Area of Galway County.
Geraldine grew up in Gortnamanagh, Kilchreest, Loughrea, Co Galway. In 2000 Geraldine married Seanie Donohue and now lives on the family farm with their children in Duniry.
Geraldine graduated from NUIG with BSc Rural Science & Development. She currently works in Leinster House as Secretarial Assistant to Independent Senator Victor Boyhan.
Geraldine is a formidable hardworking Councillor, who is straight talking with a proven record at delivering for the needs of her Constituents.
